Q. What is the best time for the return pickup after the last race?
A. Generally the last race is at 17:30-17:45, so an 18:15 pickup would be recommended so to give time for you to collect you winnings and/or go to the toilet before departing on the bus
In the winter months the last race is generally 16:30-16:45 so a 17:15 pickup time is recommended.
Please check the race schedule for last race time before confirming the return pickup time.

Q. Can we get in free or get an entry discount if we come in a group through your company?
A. No. Some people think that if they come in large groups then we can issue a receipt to get in free. This is not the case. There is no free entry offers at any time during the race year.

Q. What do I wear in the general public area?
A. Entry to the general admission areas of the racecourse requires guests to be neatly dressed. Shoes and a shirt must be worn at all times. Guests wearing fancy dress costumes will be denied entry to the racecourse. All general admission dining rooms and function venues require smart casual attire - for example: dress jeans and a nice shirt (no shorts or thongs).

Q. What Happens in Bad Weather - Do the Races get called off?
A. In the event of inclement weather, radio station 2KY (1017 AM dial) will keep you informed as to whether the AJC will cancel the Race Day. In the event that the AJC cancels a race meeting, and you have pre-purchased general admission and/or a dining package to the affected race day, the AJC will refund your money on the next business day.
